Sion Trading is an International goods trading company, with relative focus on the petroleum and petroleum products industry.

Sion Trading was established in 2004 for the purpose of targeting predictable income stream through the procurement, sales and distribution of refined petroleum products primary:

  • LRP (93& 95 RON),
  • ULP , AGO (0,05%S & 0,003 %S),
  • Jet A1, Illuminating Paraffin (Kerosene),
  • LPG,
  • Bitumen,
  • Sulfuric Acid ,
  • Lubricants.


  • In the SADC amd COMESA region.

  • Since then, we have grown a healthy southern Africa foot print , with operations in more than three countries where we supply products and services.

  • Customer identification strategy involves a multi dimensional approach to the business ,by targeting companies of varying sizes realizing proportionate value from the economies of scale presented by our customer. These companies range from sophisticated multinational oil companies,to smaller companies that can establish financial instruments, and companies that can pre-pay for products supply.

  • A strong support network is key in any trading business, especially within the complex geo-political environment in which Sion operate.

  • As mitigant to the potential procurement problems across Africa,Sion has established relationship with key suppliers of fuel across southern and east African region

  • This has enable Sion to ensure its customer receive quality specifications of product from reputable names within the industry.

  • SionTrading has established working relationship with a number of large multinationals which includes companies such as Sasol Oil, Chevron/Caltex and BP for petroleum products and LPG.

  • Total South Africa and Engen south Africa for the supply of lubricant into the mines into Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

  • Metro Petroleum ,Oil com and Chemoil out of Kenya and Tanzania into the SADC and Comesa region.
